A work-in-progress version of Benthos 360 was exhibited at the 2019 Virginia Tech Science Festival, as part of the Air, Land, and SEE exhibit. With an estimated attendance of over 1,300 people, our exhibit provided a unique hands-on experience for diverse communities from Southwest Virginia and beyond.

NRDAR National Workshop
April 19, 2023
Benthos 360 was invited by the U.S. Department of the Interior to be exhibited at its 2023 Natural Resource Damage and Restoration (NRDAR) National Workshop, in New Orleans, LA. The workshop is an annual technical event attended in 2023 by 239 employees and Trustee representatives from across the United States, in order to advance NRDAR’s stated mission to “Restore natural resources impacted by releases of oil or other hazardous substances".
National Conservation Training Center

Benthos 360 was invited by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to be exhibited at their National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, WV, for its first Open House event in over a decade.


Tribal Lands and Environment Forum (TLEF)

Benthos 360 was invited by the U.S. Department of the Interior to be exhibited at the fourteenth annual Tribal Lands and Environment Forum held in Eugene, Oregon.
FIVARS Festival of International Virtual and Augmented Reality Stories

Benthos 360 was an official selection of the 2024 FIVARS Festival of International Virtual and Augmented Reality Stories in Toronto, Canada.

June 6-22, 2025
Benthos 360 was exhibited in its own dedicated gallery at the Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke, Virginia.
American Conservation Film Festival
March 6-9, 2025
Benthos 360 was invited by the American Conservation Film Festival as a special Virtual Reality exhibition running throughout the festival.


SETAC North America
45th Annual Meeting
October 20-23, 2024
Benthos 360 was invited by the U.S. Department of the Interior to be exhibited at the 45th annual meeting of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC), in Ft. Worth, Texas. SETAC is a not-for-profit, worldwide professional organization with approximately 10,000 members and 21,000 followers from more than 90 countries dedicated to advancing environmental science and environmental management.
Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, Accelerate Festival
April 8-10, 2022
Benthos 360 was exhibited at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History as part of the 2022 ACClerate Festival. The project received 1 of 2 “People’s Choice Awards” voted on by an international public audience totaling over 31,000 museum visitors across the 3 days.
